Description
SK 98 NE FILLINGHAM MIDDLE STREET (East side) 5/27 Gateway at Fillingham Castle 16.12.64 II Gateway. c.1775, possibly by John Carr. Coursed limestone rubble. Large central pointed archway with flanking battlemented projections each with single lower round headed niche and single upper cross-shaped opening. Overgrown with ivy. Listing NGR: SK9549886349
