Description
DENTON MAIN STREET SK 8632-8732 (west side) 10/69 Estate Houses Nos.85-88 (consec.) 21.9.79 II Formerly block of 4 cottages, 2 pairs back to back, now one house. Mid C19. Coursed ironstone rubble with ashlar quoins and brick dressings. Pantile roof having raised stone coped gables, with 2 double shafted brick wall stacks to the valley. Parallel ranges, comprising 4 square units set back to back. 2 storey, 2 bay gable elevation to road has 2 tripartite glazing bar casements with to first floor 2 smaller similar windows. Side elevations of 6 bays have 2 planked doors with beyond to either side single 2 light glazing bar casements. Between the doors are 2 small single light glazing bar casements and to first floor are 2 similar windows. All openings have chamfered wooden lintels and brick hood moulds. Listing NGR: SK8684332576
