This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 08/06/2017 Address changed from 32 and 34, The Market Place to 32 and 34 Market Place. FOLKINGHAM THE MARKET PLACE TF 0633-0733 (east side) 2/89 Nos. 32 and 34 30.10.68 G.V. II Village jail and court-house, now 2 cottages. Mid C17, C19, C20. Coursed limestone rubble; some rendered brick. Colleyweston slate roof with stone coped gable to south, with gable stacks and single ridge stack. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bay cottage to left, 2 bay cottage to right. No.34 to left with central doorway in C20 rendered brick gabled porch with panelled door. Doorway flanked by single 3 light casements with shallow segmental heads. Doorway to No.32 to right with shallow segmental head and partially glazed door. 3 light casement to left with shallow segmental head. Small rectangular C20 casement above porch with 3 light casement to left and 2 three light casements to right, all with shallow segmental heads. 3 hipped dormers above with 2 light casements.
