Description

SK 94 NW 3/60 CAYTHORPE HOUGH ROAD (north side) No 18 and 20 (Formerly listed as Nos 24 and 25, previously listed as No 24) II House, circa 1800 with later C19 alterations and additions. Brick with ashlar dressings, one gable stack and one ridge stack, pantiled roof. Four bay two storey front with first floor band. L-plan. Off centre C19 door with segmental head, flanked by to the left a glazing bar sash window with segmental head, and to the right a wooden cross mullioned window with segmental head and beyond a glazing bar sash with stone lintel. Above the door is a small glazing bar sash window with segmental head flanked by single similar but larger windows. On the right is a further glazing bar sash with a stone lintel. Single bay on right hand side is probably earlier than the rest. Listing NGR: SK9401747594
