Description
BATH ROW 1. 1/371 Outhouses at corner of Castle Dyke TF 0206 1/45 22.5.54. II 2. Corner buildings in rubble, of early appearance, at present outhouses, with 3 splayed arches of C14 date, the centre containing ancient iron-studded door under ogee wood lintel inset in chamfered C14 arch. Interior has 3 corresponding chamfered and finely moulded C14 arches with damaged headstops and moulded columns. Probably remains of Great Hall. (Information on plaque says only remains of Castle are Manor Court House and Postern Gate (qv). Listing NGR: TF0285306986
