Description

Subject to a minor amendment on 08 May 2018. Construction date changed from 'c1850' to 'Late 19th century'. SK9035-SK9135; 5/302 GRANTHAM, STATION ROAD, No. 8 GV II House. Late 19th century. Built for the Great Northern Railway. Red brick with a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves and two wall stacks. Chamfered plinth, ground floor impost and first floor cill bands, plus bracketed eaves. 2-storey 5-bay front. Central doorway with overlight flanked by pairs of plain sashes, all with segment heads and brick keystones. Above a central plain sash, flanked by pairs of sashes with shallow segmental heads.
