Description
MARKET PLACE 1. 5315 (West Side) No 22 SK 8189 1/98 II GV 2. Originally 1 composition of early C19 date, with No 24 (local interest). To the left, a modillion pediment with round-headed arcade above centre window of 3 lights, without glazing bars. Moulded heads, joint stone cills, moulded stone surrounds. 1st floor, cut by fascia board, has 3 windows beneath flat cornices. This section has rusticated quoins and is rendered. Right-hand section in red brick has 2 windows, hung sashes with glazing bars, carved lintels with keystone, band at cills. Segmental bowed shop front without glazing bars to ground floor. Nos 20, 22 and 30 form a group with No 24, which is of local interest only. The side elevation of No 20 also forms a group with the side elevation of No 32 Lord Street. Listing NGR: SK8145489890
