Description
SH 93 NW LONDONTHORPE & HARROWBY LONDONTHORPE ROAD WITHOUT 1/44 South Lodge to Belton Park Londonthorpe G.V. II Gate Lodge, c.1840. Ashlar with slate roof and lead dressings with large central panelled stone stack. 2 storey 3 bay front having curved dutch gables to ends and to both flanking front bays. 1st floor string course and moulded cornice. Central 6 panelled door with moulded surround flanked by timber 2 light casements in moulded surrounds. 1st floor has central oval moulded recess containing plain cartouche flanked by windows as ground floor. Stone ball finials to corners, centre and centre of gables. Single storey wing to rear. Listing NGR: SK9257537823
