BELTON & MANTHORPE SK9239 BELTON PARK, Belton 1315-0/8/71 (North West side) 19/02/52 Screen and gateway to west courtyard at Belton House (Formerly Listed as: BELTON PARK, Belton Belton House) GV II* Screen and gateway on the south side of the west courtyard. Early C18, resited late C19. Probably by John Warren. Wrought-iron and ashlar. Central gateway has openwork piers topped with finials, shaped overthrow and double gates. On either side, a railing with scrollwork top and intermediate piers, on an ashlar plinth with slab coping. This building has also been attributed to Thomas Robinson.
