Description

TF 07 NW NETTLEHAM HIGH STREET 5/51 White Hart Inn G.V. II Former court house now public house. c.1730 with C20 alterations. Red brick in flemish bond with painted ashlar dressings, pantile roof with 2 brick gable stacks. 2 storey, 3 bay front with rusticated quoins and coved eaves. Central 6 panelled door in moulded stone surround with pulvinated frieze, stepped keystone and triangular pediment, flanked by single glazing bar sashes. To first floor a central Venetian window, the traceried side lights of which are now blocked. The sill is supported on 4 brackets and the lights are separated by Doric pilasters supporting pulvinated and dentillated friezes. The fixed centre light has a moulded semi-circular head with stepped keystone. Flanked by single glazing bar sashes. All windows have moulded stone architraves with stepped keystones. To right a single storey range with advanced C20 front added, to left a further C20 single storey range. Listing NGR: TF0062075301
