Description
TF 01 SW CARLBY . HIGH STREET (south side) 4/61 Barn at The- Elms Farm II Barn. Early C17 with C19 alteration. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar bands, quoins and dressings. Steeply pitched pantile roof with raised stone coped gables. Single storey, single bay front with central planked door under timber lintel set in blocking of wider full height opening, flanked by single vertical breathers. To the right a later C19 lean-to shed and to the left lower 3 bay C19 waggon hovel. Interior. Clasped purlin pegged oak roof of 5 bays. Listing NGR: TF0478514007
