Description
NORTH WITHAM RECTORY LANE SK 92 SW (north side) 8/124 Old Rectory G.V. II Incorrectly shown as Rectory on OS map. Former rectory, now house. c.1700, altered early C19 and C20. Coursed limestone rubble, ashlar quoins and dressings, hipped pantile roof with 2 ridge and 2 gable and single wall brick stacks. L-plan. 2 storey, 3 bay front with central C20 door in hipped roofed C20 stone porch, flanked by single 2 light glazing bar sashes. To first floor are 2 similar windows with, at the centre, a single glazing bar sash. Lower windows have flat stone arches. To the upper ones timber lintels. Listing NGR: SK9267021850
