Description
TF 03 NW HEYDOUR MAIN STREET (west side) Oasby 3/18 19-2-52 Oasby House G.V. II House; C17 with substantial C19 additions and alterations; Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, one stone coped gable, 2 moulded stone ridge stacks, a pantile roof and one external wall stack. L-plan extended in C19 to cross plan. 2 storey with garret, irregular 6 bay front having single bay off centre gabled projection containing plain door with stone surround and above C19 2 light casement. All C19 casements have timber mullions and plain stone surrounds. To the right is a higher 2 storey C19 wing, blank except for projecting stack. To the left is a canted ashlar bay of 3 lights to the front and single lights to side, with pantile roof, flanked by single 3 light casements. A further fixed light with glazing bars is at the left hand end. Above are three 3-light casements and a single 2 light casement. In the rear extension is one reused C17 mullioned window.
