Description
IRNHAM CORBY ROAD TF 0226-0326 (north side) 13/170 Nos. 9 and 10 G.V. II Formerly one house, now 2 cottages. C15, C17 with C20 remodelling. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, to rear wall remnant oak frame. Pantile roof with single ridge and gable moulded stone stacks. Lobby entry plan. Single storey with attics, 5 bay front, having 2 planked doors, a single 3 light and 2 two light windows, with chamfered mullions. All openings have stone hoods. In the roof are 2 gabled dormers at eaves level with 2 light casements and rendered cheeks. The rear wall has 2 bays of an earlier framed building with wall plate, all pegged oak frame. Inside a C17 chamfered inglenook bressumer with shield shaped stops. Listing NGR: TF0236826759
