CORBY GLEN BIRKHOLME SK 9824-9924 (south side of B676) 14/72 Forge, Waggon hovel and loose boxes at Heath Farm G.V. II Forge, waggon hovel and loose boxes. Mid C19. Coursed limestone rubble, red brick and ashlar dressings, pantile roof, single bridge ridge stack. Ventilated ridge. Single range. Single storey 4 bay front having to left a broad opening with timber lintel on cast iron stanchion and to right 3 planked stable doors with segmental brick heads. To right hand gable a planked segmental headed opening to hay loft over stable. To left hand gable a planked door and 3 light window with plain fixed lights. Inside the forge hearth and chimney hood remain. Included for group value only. Listing NGR: SK9825824128
