Description

Sk 9248-9348 CAYTHORPE CHAPEL LANE 8/32 Templeway House No 17 II House, C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed and in part banded ironstone and limestone rubble, ashlar quoins and dressings, stone coped gables, pantiled roof with one brick ridge stack. L-plan. 2 storey with garret on left and attic on right, 4 bay front. Off centre early C19 6 panelled glazed door in fluted wooden surround with angle rosettes at top. Covered by a C19 wooden gabled roof with decorative wooden brackets. To left a pair of C20 horizontally hinged glazing bar casements and to right a single 2-light casement. On the first floor are 3 C20 horizontally hung casements. In the gable to left is a single plain sash, and to right is a C20 3 light casement dormer with flat roof and weatherboarded cheeks.
