SK 9248-9348 CAYTHORPE CHURCH LANE (north side) 8/38 Stable Block to Caythorpe Hall G.V. II Stable block; 1823 by William Parsons; coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, hipped slate roof with lead dressings. Two storeys with first floor band. Seven bay front, 2:3:2, middle three advanced to form pedimented entry bay. Very wide central doorway with basket arch and raised splayed keystone. Flanked by two tall glazing bar windows with hinged upper lights. The seven upper windows are glazing bar sashes. All windows have plain stone surrounds. Above central window in a pediment is a blank circular recess with a plain stone surround. Listing NGR: SK9379848882
