Description
DENTON CHURCH STREET SK 8632-8732 (north side) 10/50 The Welby Arms 21.9.79 G.V. II Public house. Early C19, with C20 alterations. Coursed ironstone rubble, red brick side walls and dressings, hipped pantile roof with 2 brick ridge stacks. 2 storey irregular 4 bay front with dogtooth eaves course, having off-centre C20 door with fanlight with contemporary wooden surround. To left a pair and to right single glazing bar sashes and to first floor 4 similar windows. All windows have segmental brick heads. Upper windows have C20 louvred shutters. Listing NGR: SK8661832572
