BELTON & MANTHORPE SK9339 BELTON PARK, Belton 1315-0/9/95 (North East side) Dogs' memorial 250 metres north-east of Belton House II Dogs' memorial. Late C19. Erected by Adelaide, Lady Brownlow, in memory of 2 pet dogs who died in 1896 and 1899. Ashlar. Goblet shaped urn with figures in relief, on square pedestal with plinth and moulded cornice. Approx 2.5m high. This building appears within Belton Park which is on the Gardens Register at grade I. (Marsden J & Barber A: Belton House: London: 1985-1987: 46). Listing NGR: SK9310039486
