BARROWBY SK8736 CHURCH STREET 1315-0/12/19 (West side (off)) 18/09/79 Hall Cottage and adjoining boundary wall II Cottage and adjoining boundary wall. c1770, with addition c1870. refenestrated mid C20. Coursed squared stone with pantile roofs, the main roof sprocketed and with a coped gable. 2 gable, single ridge and rear wall brick stacks. 2 storeys; 1 : 3 windows. To right, 3 wooden cross casements. Off-centre half-glazed door flanked to right by a 2-light casement and to left by 2 similar casements. All these openings have wooden lintels. Higher addition, to left, has a margin glazed sash and a half-glazed door with overlight and concrete lintel. Attached boundary wall, coursed squared stone with half-round tile and brick coping, approx 70m long, encloses a triangular garden in front of the house. Listing NGR: SK8782436369
