BARROWBY SK8736 CHURCH STREET 1315-0/12/10 (West side (off)) Summerhouse 10 metres north-west of Barrowby Old Hall II Summerhouse. Mid C19. Coursed squared stone with red and purple brick bands and dressings. Fish scale clay tile roof with bargeboards and external gable stack. Gothic Revival style. Projecting brick quoins. Single storey; 2 window range. Facing gable has gabled wooden porch with pointed arched opening, covering a segment arched half-glazed door with glazing bars. The gable is ornamented with lumps of fused brick. Left return has 2 pointed arched 12-pane sashes with projecting brick surrounds, and 3 fragments of medieval carved stone. Rear gable has a triangular headed window with projecting brick surround. Listing NGR: SK8776236454
