Description
HARLAXTON SK8832 CHURCH STREET 1315-0/14/150 (North side (off)) Seven headstones 20 metres south of tower at Church of St Mary and St Peter GV II 7 headstones. Late C18 and early C19. Slate. To left, a shouldered arch topped stone to James Clayton, 1803. To its right, a similar stone to William Clayton, 1791, then a similar larger stone to Mary Clayton, 1793. To right again, a small flat topped stone to Samuel Woolley, 1770, then a similar stone to 3 children of the Clayton family, 1777, 1781 and 1783. Next, a shouldered arch topped stone to William Clayton, 1805. Finally, a scroll topped stone to Richard Lewty, 1802. Listing NGR: SK8826032612
