SK 93 SE ROPSLEY & HUMBY CROWN HILL Ropsley 5/63 Crown Hill Farm II Farm House; C18 with early C19 additions and alterations; coursed limestone rubble with pantile roof having one gable and 2 hips and brick ridge stacks. T-plan consisting of C18 house with C19 added cross wing. South east front of 2 storeys and 5 bays, right hand bay advanced under hip roof. C19 off centre door covered by lean-to glazed porch; to left large C19 3 light glazing bar casement, C19 door with timber porch and small fixed light; to right single glazing bar sash with segmental head and splayed stone lintel. 1st floor has blank window in advanced wing and to left two 3-light glazing bar casements with timber lintels and a further 2 light Yorkshire sash with glazing bars.
