Description
SK 93 NE LONDONTHORPE & HARROWBY CHURCH LANE (east side) WITHOUT Londonthorpe 2/36 Nos 1 and 2 Hall Farm Cottages G.V. II 2 cottages; C17 with C19 alterations. Coursed rubble limestone with ashlar dressings, pantile roof with one brick gable stack and one brick ridge stack. Cottages divided by cross passage. Single storey with attics, 6 bay irregular fenestration, ashlar quoins. Off centre plain wooden door with moulded surround flanked by to left 3 light and 2 light ovolo mullioned casements and to right 4, 2 and 3 light ovolo mullioned casements. 4 C19 dormers, three 3-light and a single 2-light, with gables constructed from reused C17 mullions with brickwork to gables and cheeks. Iron frame casements throughout. Listing NGR: SK9535438122
