Description
BARROWBY SK8736 CHURCH STREET 1315-0/12/21 (North side) Pair of cottages 15 metres west of Malting House II Pair of cottages. Late C18, altered mid C19. Coursed squared stone with brick dressings and pantile roof with reduced central brick ridge stack. Rubble plinth and quoins. 2 storeys; 4 window range of 2-light sliding sashes. Below, 2 similar sashes with glazing bars, flanked by single board doors. To left, a similar window. All these openings have segmental heads. Right gable has peak rebuilt in brick.
