BARROWBY SK8736 CHURCH STREET 1315-0/12/16 (North side (off)) Six headstones 15 metres south of chancel at Church of All Saints GV II 6 headstones. Mid and late C18, early and mid C19. Slate and ashlar. To left, 4 slate stones with shouldered arched tops. The first, with incised figure, by J Neale to James Dorr, 1798, and Elizabeth Dorr, 1833. Second stone, with incised urn and elaborate script, to William Dorr, 1795. Third stone with urn, to John Dorr, 1801. Larger fourth stone, with figure of angel, to Eleanor Dorr, 1804. Smaller fifth stone, ashlar, with segmental head, to William Dorr, 1845. Seventh stone, slate, with flat head, by G Sparrow to John Nelson, 1763. Listing NGR: SK8788236485
