Description
BELTON & MANTHORPE SK94SW GRANTHAM ROAD, Belton 1315-0/1/38 (North West side) 20/09/66 Bridgewater House GV II Former rectory, now a house. Dated 1822. Ancaster stone ashlar and brick, with hipped slate roof. 4 square coped ashlar stacks. Plinth and first floor band. Deep wooden eaves. 2 storeys; 5 x 7 windows. Windows are glazing bar sashes, 9-pane to the first floor, 12-pane below. Main south front has a slightly projecting 3-bay centre under a pediment. Entrance front, to east, 3 windows, has a central square porch with solid balustrade and half-glazed door with cruciform glazing bars. To its right, a small additional window.
