Description
1. 1671 ST MARTIN'S (West Side) No 51 TF 0306 2/228 22.5.54. II* GV 2. Early C18 front elevation, with pre-C17 work to rear. Coursed rubble. Roof of stone slates. Stone quoins. 5 windows, stone arches, C19 fenestration with plate glass. Two 6-Panel doors with 2-light rectangular fanlights. 5 hipped dormers with C19 modillioned roofs. Back of house indicates earlier date. Nos 39 to 43 (consec), Garden Wall to No 43, No 44, Wall to No 44, Nos 49 to 70 (consec), Garden Wall to Nos 68 and 69 with Burghley Almshouses form a group.
