STOKE ROCHFORD VILLAGE STREET SK 92 NW (south side) 6/175 Nos. 3 and 4 (Church Cottages) G.V. II Pair of estate cottages. c.1840-5. By William Burn. Ashlar with slate roofs, having raised stone coped gables with moulded kneelers and a group of 4 octagonal ridge stacks with cornices. Single storey plus attics, 4 bay front having 2 advanced rectangular bays with 3 light mullioned windows and hipped stone roofs, flanked by single fixed lights. Above the bays are 2 light through eaves gabled dormer windows. Included for group value only. Listing NGR: SK9189027343
