Description

In the entry for: SK 8244-8344 LONG BENNINGTON MAIN STREET (east side) 10/65 No 54 The descriptive notes shall be amended to read: House 1850. Red and cream chequered brick, pantile roof with gable stack. 2 storey 4 bay front with off centre door having heavily moulded doorcase, rectangular over- light, bracketed hood and panelled door. To left glazing bar sashes, that beside the door being hanover. To right a single glazing bar sash. 1st floor fenestration is similar with a blocked opening above the door having painted stucco splayed lintels with raised keystones. Datestone onthe south side is inscribed "EAL 1850". Included for group value only. Single window to north with 2 above, that over the door being blocked with painted glazing bars. The other 2 have glazing bar sashes, and all have painted stucco splayed lintels, with raised keystones. Datestone on south return inscribed E.A.L.1850. Included for group value only.
