SK 84 NE CLAYPOLE SCHOOL LANE (east side) 3/13 The Paddocks and attached outbuilding II House. Early C17, C18, C19, C20. Timberframe, red brick, pantile roof with single ridge stack and gable stack. L-plan of 2 storeys with C19 brick casing and irregular C20 fenestration. West front has two 3-light part-fixed, part- casement windows on ground floor, and one similar 2 light window above, to the north. Most of the wall plates inside and some of the ceilings are intact. Pantry wall with 4 studded bays intact on both sides. C17 clasped purlin roof. Outhouse has concrete tiled roof and tall lateral stack. Cased in mid C18 brick and has window complete with sliding shutter re-set from original timber frame in west wall. 4 slit windows, a central door and buttress set beneath stack. Stone and brick underbuilding with butt purlin, halved collar roof. North side contains several C18, C19 and C20 openings. Listing NGR: SK8503449064
