Description
EDENHAM MAIN STREET TF 02 SE 7/130 Former weighbridge cabin to Edenham and Little Bytham Railway at Copy Lawn Farm II Former weighbridge cabin, now store. c.1856. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. Pantile roof with crested ridge, single ashlar moulded stack. Single storey, single bay front, having central planked door with ashlar lintel. To the left side a fixed 4 light window with ashlar lintel. The Edenham and Little Bytham Railway was built by Lord Willoughby de Eresby by converting a road to a railway. It ceased operation in c.1880.
