Description
This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 11/04/2017 Address changed from 4 and 6, The Market Place to 4 and 6 Market Place. FOLKINGHAM THE MARKET PLACE TF 0633-0733 (east side) 2/79 Nos. 4 and 6 30.10.65 G.V. II Farmhouse with attached cottage, now 2 cottages. C17, remodelled in early C19. Coursed limestone rubble, some limestone ashlar. Colleyweston tiled roof with stone coped gables, red brick eaves and 2 ridge stacks. 2 storey, 5 bay front. Lobby entrance. No.4 with doorway to right with small bracketed hood and partially glazed door. Doorway flanked by single glazing bar sashes. Doorway to No.6 beyond to left with ashlar wedge lintel and panelled door. Glazing bar sash beyond to left. 5 glazing bar sashes above. All the windows with ashlar wedge lintels.
