Description
CASTLE BYTHAM GLEN ROAD SK 9818-9918 (west side) 16/52 Pigeoncote at No.63 6.5.52 (Glen House) G.V. II Pigeoncote. c. 1600, altered C19. Squared coursed limestone rubble, ashlar quoins and dressings, some red brick patching, central Collyweston slate roof, square wooden turret. Circular plan. Single planked door, above a 2 light chamfer mullioned window. Stone head to eaves. Interior retains stone perches and brick boxes, C19 wooden turning ladder. Listing NGR: SK9880118977
