Description
CASTLE BYTHAM CASTLE GATE SK 9818-9918 (west side) 16/49 The Old Forge II Forge. Late C18, altered C19. Squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins. Pantile roof, brick ridge stack. Single storey, 2 bay front having to right a pair of planked doors and to left a boarded opening under timber lintel. Listing NGR: SK9892818591
