Description

Minor amendment made 19 June 2015 amended the name and address to 35, 37 and 39 High Street from 35 and 39 High Street. The opening sentence of the list description has been changed to ‘Three houses.’ TF 1409-1509 MARKET DEEPING HIGH STREET (north side) 14/158 Nos. 35, 37 and 39 (odd) G.V. II Three houses. c.1890. Coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar rusticated quoins and dressings. Slate roof with single gable and 2 ridge ashlar stacks, 2 having bracketed and moulded cornices. 2 storey, 5 bay front arranged so that first, third and fifth bays are advanced and separately gabled. Plain plinth, double first floor cill bands supporting pierced scrolled brackets to overhanging eaves. 2 flush panelled doors in semi- circular arched surrounds with key and impost blocks. In the 3 projecting bays are paired sashes with corbelled bases, semi- circular aprons and gabled tops all in ashlar. To first floor are 3 similar paired windows in plain ashlar surrounds.
