Description
NORTH PARADE 1. 1146 (West Side) Nos. 3 to 11 (odd) SK 9136 SW 7/74 II 2. Georgian. Terrace of red brick houses, 3-storeys and basement. Slate roof. Moulded cornice (to all except No. 3) and small parapet. Rendered basements. Nos. 3, 7 and 11 have 3-light bay windows through all storeys. Nos. 5 and 9 are recessed, with 1 window each, All have doors with moulded wood architraves and panelled ingoes, and rectangular glazed fanlights. Stone steps to each door. Some retain original cast iron railings. The above buildings are in keeping with the character of the street as described on the East side, and are the only pre-C20 buildings on the West side.
