Description
COLSTERWORTH NEWTON WAY SK 9224-9324 (north side) 11/32 No.26 24.9.79 II House. Late C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins. Pantile roof with single gable and 2 ridge brick stacks. 2 storey irregular 4 bay front. Half glazed door with C20 open porch, flanked by single C20 3 light casements under timber lintels. To left a further half glazed door under C20 gabled hood with beyond a 3 light casement. To first floor a pair of C19 2 light casements to eaves are flanked by single eaves dormer windows with gabled roofs, boarded cheeks and gables. Interior retains simply chamfered beams in right hand room. Listing NGR: SK9227024381
