Description
STOKE ROCHFORD HIGH DIKE SK 92 NW (west side) 6/151 Barn at Stoke Grange G.V. II Barn. C18 with minor C19 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins. Pantile roof. 2 storey, 2 bay front with off-centre full height opening under deep timber lintel. To right a planked door under timber lintel flanked by single breathers. To either side of the opening are single planked openings to eaves. In both gable ends are timber levelling plates at regular intervals. Oak roof has massive tie beams and is of pegged clasped purlin construction. Listing NGR: SK9307428310
