Description
1. 1671 ST GEORGE'S STREET (West Side) No 17 (Formerly listed under St George's Square) TR 0307 1/169 22.5.54. II GV 2. Early C18 or before. Two storeys and attics in ashlar. Modern tile roof with 3 hipped dormers, modern casements. Rusticated quoins at South end only. 3 windows, stone surrounds, carved keystones, double-hung sashes with glazing bars. Left-hand window on ground has lost keystone. One modern 3-light window to right, sashes with glazing bars. Similar doorway with shell hood with cement lining on carved brackets, Plain rectangular fanlight, comprising iron lamp bracket. Plinth. Nos 17 to 21 (consec) form a group. Listing NGR: TF0319707129
