Description
HIGH STREET 1. 5313 (East Side) The White Lion Public House TF 2421 1/75 2.7.74. II GV 2. Late C18. 3 storeys in red brick with moulded wood eaves cornice and wide stone bands between storeys. 3 windows with shaped stone lintels and fluted keystones, hung sashes with glazing bars. Ground floor painted, with central elliptical coach arch with heavy rustication. 1 window as above and, to right, similar lintel over C19 doorway, now a window, with side lights, wood mullions and rectangular fanlight. Nos 2 to 4 (consec) and the White Lion Public House form a group. Listing NGR: TF2490022580
