Description

Subject to a minor amendment on 06 September 2017. Name and address changed from Main Street (north side), House adjoining Myrtle House, to Laurel House, Old Main Road. FLEET OLD MAIN ROAD (north side) Laurel House TF 32 NE 6/32 II House. Late C18, mid C19. Red brick. Slate roof, hipped over right bay; left gable stack. Two storeys, 3-bay front with narrow central bay projecting slightly. Central doorway with modillioned pediment, dosserets, fluted ionic columns, flattened semi-circular head with traceried fanlight and ornate panelled door. Blind, segmental headed doorway to left. Canted bay window beyond with tripartite glazing bar sashes and entablature. Single plain sash to right of doorway. Small glazing bar sash above doorway with flush wedge lintel. Single glazing bar sash to left; single plain sash to right; both with segmental heads. Listing NGR: TF3941125033
