Description
SUTTON ST. EDMUND GUANOCKGATE' TF 31 SE (east side) 9/90 Guanock House 2/2/79 II House. 1699. Red brick. Steeply pitched C20 concrete pantile roof. Left gable, single ridge and rear gable stacks. Brick coped and tumbled gables. Set on a plinth. First floor band with 2nd floor band on return walls. L-plan. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Central doorway with part glazed and panelled door, plain reveal. To the left is a single glazing bar sash under a flat arch and further left a single segmental arched plain sash. To the right of the doorway is a single glazing bar sash under a flat arch. 4 glazing bar sashes under segmental arches above with single central lozenge plaque inscribed 'M.D. The Guanock House 1699'. First floor band with 4 tie plates. Listing NGR: TF3766114656
