Description
GOSBERTON BOW GATE TF 23 SW (north side) 4/41 No.7 (Bowgate House) 7.2.67 II House. Late C18, altered C19. Red brick in Flemish bond, stucco dressings, pantile roof, raised brick coped gables, 2 gable stacks. 2 storeys plus garret, 3 bay front, the entry bay slightly advanced and pedimented. Plinth. Central 8 panel door set in a fluted wooden pilastered surround with triglyph, paterae and dentillations, flanked by single canted bay windows, plain sashes, moulded wooden cornice with brackets, flat lead roofs. To first floor are 3 plain sashes with splayed stucco lintels with keyblocks. Central pediment contains a semi-circular light also with stucco surround. Listing NGR: TF2346832115
