Description
HEIGHINGTON HIGH STREET TF 0270-0370 10/29 No 6 Albert House 18.1.90 - II House. Early C18, altered mid C19. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. Pantile roof with 2 red brick gable stacks with ashlar coped gables and kneelers with ball finials. Flush ashlar quoins and chamfered plinth. 2 storey plus attics. East front, 3 bays, formerly 5 bays, central doorway with C20 door and overlight, with small bracketted hood lined to a central upper plain sash. Eitherside are wooden 2 storey canted bay windows with plain sashes. Above 2 small gabled dormers with plain sashes. Garden front, 2 storey, has off-centre doorway with C20 door, flanked by 2 glazing bar sashes, all these openings have brick lintels. Above 4 further glazing bar sashes. Listing NGR: TF0294769568
