Description
CROWLAND NORTH STREET TF 2210-2310 (west side) 17/15 The George and Angel Public House (formerly listed as 7.2.67 George & Angel Inn) G.V. II Public house. 1714, C20. Coursed limestone rubble, some ashlar and some render. Hipped plain tiled roof with wooden eaves, single ridge and lateral stacks, and single ridge stack to rear. 2 storeys and attic, 5 irregular bays with rendered plinth and ashlar first floor band. Doorway to the left with plain ashlar doorcase, overlight and double panelled C20 doors. Single window to the left, 3 windows to the right, all C20 casements with concrete lintels. 5 glazing bar sashes above with concrete lintels. To the right of left upper window plaque inscribed 'CSA 1714'. 2 hipped dormers with single sliding sashes. South return wall with 4 C20 casements with concrete lintels, with 3 glazing bar sashes above. Listing NGR: TF2391310251
