HEIGHTINGTON OFF PARK LANE TF 0269-0369 (south side) 11/40 The Dovecote in The Old Stackyard (formerly 2.10.84 listed as The Dovecote and Cartshed at Park View) GV II House with dovecote, formerly cartshed and dovecote. Early C19, converted c1988. Coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings, timber-framing and slate and pantile roofs. Red brick quoins. Single storey former cartshed, now converted to a dwelling, with over the eastern gable a large 2 stage timber-framed dovecote. The lower stage has timber-framing with rendered infill, and a small plank door, above a hipped slate roof with above a smaller square cupola with a wood clad sides and 6 flight holes to each face, above a pyramidal slate roof topped by a wooden finial.
