Details This List entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 25/02/2019 TF 0645; 1/50 MARKET STREET (North Side), Nos. 5 and 6 (Formerly listed as Nos. 5 and 6 Market Place) GV II No. 6 (formerly the County Club) is mid C18, tall building of three storeys in red brick with modern tile roof. Stone plinth. Moulded stone eaves cornice. Four windows, stone lintels with keystone, hung sashes with glazing bars Brick bands between storeys. Three steps to tall door in wood case with pilasters and cornice on consoles, good rectangular fanlight. Coach arch with keystone to side. No 5 under arch, on first floor has window of three lights with stone lintel with keystone. Ground floor built forward in modern times. Nos 3 to 6 (consec) form a group. Listing NGR: TF0681045924
