Description
TEMPLE BRUER with THOMPSON'S BOTTOM LANE TF 05 NW TEMPLE HIGH GRANGE (north side) 1/62 Stables and Coach House at Thompson's Bottom Farmhouse GV II Range of stables and carriage houses. Late C18 and early C19. Coursed rubble and brick with pantile roofs and a single gable and a single lateral stack. Brick plinth and brick eaves. 5-bay, 1½-storey, late C18 stable range has a central glazing bar window with plank shutter, flanked by single plank doors that to the left with an overlight, flanked again by single glazing bar windows. All these openings have segment brick heads, painted with keystones. Above 4 shuttered loft openings, that to the right now blocked. To the right a single storey 2-bay addition with a single plank door and a single glazing bar casement, also with segment brick heads, painted with keystones. To the left a 6-bay 1½-storey, early C19 brick carriage house, now altered, with a single bay coursed rubble addition beyond. Listing NGR: TF0173755031
