Description

RUSKINGTON MANOR STREET TF 05 SE (north side) 4/53 No 2 GV II Cottage. Late C17, restored c.1870 and C20. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. C20 pantile roof with a single white brick gable stack. Ashlar coped gables, with a single ashlar finial, and ashlar quoins. 3-bay. 1½-storey. Slightly off-centre doorway with plank door and late C17 ashlar jambs with a C19 rock-faced ashlar triangular head. Either side are irregularly set 3-light C19 casements with triangular-headed rock-faced ashlar surrounds. The fragmentary remains of former mullion windows are still visible in this wall. Above 2 gable dormers, with triangular-headed, 2-light casements. Listing NGR: TF0828951091
